When to Enroll A Preferred Client
When someone chooses to support your Arbonne Business by purchasing products, you want to consider what is best for them and their needs. You also want to maximize your compensation plan benefits. Please read below and take this into consideration as you start to build your loyal customer base.
The greatest benefit to both you, as a Business Builder, and the Potential Client is to make sure the PC (Preferred Client) order is QUALIFIED.
Example: For the new “READY IN 5 MAKEUP SET," suggest/recommend for the PC to ADD ON a product to bump up the total $SRP qualifier so that the PC EARNS the PC benefits (free shipping, free product voucher).
In this example, the Eye Makeup Remover would do it!
WHY DO QUALIFIED ORDERS BENEFIT CONSULTANTS AND PCS?
-
Enrolling PCs with qualified orders means you and your upline earn cash awards.
-
PCs get all the value from the Membership they have purchased.
WHEN TO ENROLL AND SELL TO A CLIENT
If the order is UNDER the PC Reward Qualifier in the market you are selling to, upsell to help their order meet the first tier qualifier so that they earn the Free Shipping and Free Product Voucher. Recommend other products based on their needs and interests, and explain to them how close they are to earning PC Rewards. Most people will want the most value and will add more to earn more.
If they are fine with their order as is (ie. under qualification for the rewards), it is best to enroll them as a CLIENT. At catalog prices, our products are already extremely competitive for the prestige level that they are.
You can sell to them at the Suggested Retail Price so that you make your full commission on that sale.
WHEN TO ENROLL AND SELL TO A PREFERRED CLIENT
-
If the client order MEETS or is OVER the PC Reward Qualifier in the market you are selling to, offer the PC PROGRAM. Explain to the customer that with the PC Registration Fee, their order gets them Free Shipping and a Free Product Voucher for next time. The PC Registration fee is absorbed into the order through their 20%-40% discount which is available to them for a full calendar year.
-
If your client order is UNDER the PC Reward Qualifier in the market you are selling to, educate them about the incredible benefits of our Preferred Client Program. You can up-sell (increase the sale) by suggesting /recommending products (based on interest/need/ benefits) to help top them up to meet the PC qualifier. This is a huge benefit to this potential PC, as the cost of that extra product will be absorbed in the discount, the free shipping, and the free product voucher. Even more so if they are close to the 2nd tier PC Qualifier for NEW PCs which can earn them a Free Product on their first order. If they are close to the 2nd tier, make sure to upsell and explain the value.
-
If they don't want to take advantage of the PC Benefits offers, sell to them as a CLIENT. You can sell to them at SRP so that you make your full commission on that sale.
BE FLEXIBLE
At the end of the day, each potential client will be doing what they feel is best for them, even after you explain the value of the program. There will be times that, no matter how well you explain the PC Program benefits and rewards, the potential client will pass on the PC program (even if they would have earned rewards), or they won't add to their under-qualified order and will still pay the PC registration fee. Each client or PC gets to do what they want to do. Just make sure you take every opportunity to educate, clarify, or offer more value, rather than assuming they understand thoroughly. It's always good to try. Be flexible and invite them to shop and buy what they want to, or can, based on their budget. Some people like to baby step into the product offerings, and that's okay.
DO NOT OFFER THE INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT REGISTRATION if they are only wanting to shop at a big discount.
Reserve the INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT REGISTRATION choice ONLY for those who want to BUILD A BUSINESS.
The bigger discount and benefits for customers is the PC Program. PCs get 20-40% off, pay taxes on the sale prices, and there is no yearly purchase minimum requirement.
Although Consultants do get 35-50% off, they pay taxes at the SRP.

In this video coaching by ENVP Camilla Eves, the PC qualifier is not up-to-date,
but the business strategy is solid and always valid.
